Our Mission

The CyberPro Train project, funded under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL), addresses the critical cybersecurity skills shortage in the European Union by developing an innovative, scalable education and training model tailored for professionals in SMEs and public administrations.
It aims to bridge the cybersecurity skills gap through specialized training programs that combine both theoretical and practical knowledge, in alignment with the EU’s Digital Europe Programme objectives. The project supports key EU cybersecurity directives, such as the NIS2 Directive and Cyber Resilience Act, and is designed to prepare a new generation of cybersecurity professionals to protect critical infrastructures and respond effectively to cybersecurity threats.
Key Features of CyberPro Train:
Project Effectiveness
The CyberPro Train project significantly strengthens Europe’s cybersecurity landscape by directly addressing the shortage of skilled professionals and enhancing digital resilience across the EU. Through extensive training programs, bootcamps, and on-the-job experiences, CyberPro Train is building a highly capable cybersecurity workforce, which is crucial for safeguarding SMEs, start-ups, and public administrations against evolving threats.
This initiative not only provides immediate talent to address current cybersecurity gaps but also promotes long-term career development in cybersecurity, encouraging social mobility and inclusivity. By supporting SMEs and public institutions in adopting up-to-date cybersecurity practices, CyberPro Train enhances the EU digital ecosystem, enabling a more secure and competitive EU market.

In the longer term, CyberPro Train promotes a collaborative and standardized approach to cybersecurity training across EU member states, aligning with the goals of the European Commission’s Cybersecurity Skills Academy. By creating a unified, scalable training model and encouraging partnerships, the project facilitates knowledge sharing and collective growth within the cybersecurity community, ensuring that the EU can effectively respond to new and complex cyber threats.
Additionally, with resources like the CyberPro Train Digital Handbook and materials in multiple languages, CyberPro Train provides lasting value to organizations, equipping them with the tools and insights needed for sustainable cybersecurity practices.
