CyberPro Train Bootcamps: Turning Knowledge into Practice

The CyberPro Train Bootcamps are intensive, hands-on training experiences designed to bridge the gap between cybersecurity knowledge and real-world application. Building on the skills acquired through the project’s training programme, the Bootcamps offer participants the opportunity to apply their knowledge in realistic cybersecurity scenarios, strengthen their technical and decision-making capabilities, and develop the practical competencies needed to address today’s evolving cyber threats. Through interactive workshops, practical laboratories, simulations and scenario-based exercises, participants will experience the challenges of preventing, managing and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Designed for professionals from SMEs, startups and public administrations, the Bootcamps address key cybersecurity challenges, including incident response, cyber crisis management, security operations, risk and vulnerability assessment, governance and regulatory compliance, and the protection of critical infrastructures and essential services. By combining technical expertise with organisational and strategic perspectives, the programme aims to enhance cybersecurity preparedness, strengthen operational resilience and promote effective cooperation between public and private sector stakeholders.

Beyond developing practical skills, the Bootcamps represent an important milestone in the CyberPro Train learning pathway. They provide participants with an opportunity to consolidate their learning, collaborate with peers and industry experts, and demonstrate their competencies in practical settings. Participant performance and engagement will also contribute to the selection process for the project’s subsequent Tour-on-the-Job training opportunities, enabling further professional development through real-world experience.

Three Countries, Three Bootcamp Experiences

As part of its European training activities, CyberPro Train will organise three in-person Bootcamps in Spain, Greece and Italy, taking place at different times throughout the project’s implementation. Each Bootcamp will build on a shared training framework while incorporating activities and perspectives tailored to the needs of its participants and local cybersecurity ecosystem. Bringing together cybersecurity professionals, technical specialists and decision-makers, these events will create opportunities for practical learning, knowledge exchange and cross-sector collaboration. The Spanish Bootcamp, taking place in Madrid in November 2026, marks a key milestone in this international training programme, with further information on the Greek and Italian editions to be announced.
